At Circuit Pointe, passionate women rally to create a safe haven for other women, so that they can thrive. To tackle challenges currently affecting young women and girls thus hindering them from achieving their best potentials, Our current initiatives focus on ending all forms of infantile Female Genital Mutilation/ Cutting (FGM/C), inspiring girls & empowering young women. To those without a voice, we lend them ours. To the hopeful, we nurse their wings, so that they can soar.
On the 1st of July 2020, Circuit Pointe announced the launch of a new campaign against FGM/C in 15 communities in Imo State and Ebonyi States. Over the next 2 years, our team will support these communities to abandon the practice of FGM/C. Existing community structures will be empowered to raise awareness on FGM/C from a gender and human rights perspective. Also, inter-generational dialogues will be facilitated to change beliefs, attitudes and values placed on FGM/C.
